fr though, why did they decide a school setting was a good idea.

The whole reason Pokemon is great is because it's always been about getting a magical critter and then exploring the world and going on an adventure.

I can't think of anything that is less fitting to this theme than SCHOOL.

It's honestly depressing that massive academies with student bodies, dorms, dress codes etc. is now a part of the pokemon universe.

It's just so droll. It takes so much intrigue out of the universe.
