Realistically speaking, with Set mode removed and customization gutted, what is the single biggest feature gamefreak can remove from the next game and get away with it/have its removal actively defended by brand mindslaves?
I think they could probably get away with totally removing abilities and people would cite PLA as precedent that it was just fine without them and the poor overworked devs needed to cut them to save time
