Of course, the Palace and Pyramid were bullshit, but the rest were pretty fair and easy once you had solid coverage.
By reducing the 7 Facilities to 5 in Plat and HGSS, they expected less whining from the filthy normie babies, but then they bitched then.
It's why the Battle Subway was piss easy.

Only 1% of the playerbase actually engages with it, it's not worth it to make one every new game when their current model is pumping out as many games as possible in the least amount of time.

How is it "piss easy"? I've never engaged with competitive Pokémon so from an extreme casuals standpoint I always found them very annoying and it felt like the odds were purposefully stacked against you, I enjoyed the Battle Frontier A LOT more

The Battle Subway suffered from the same syndrome the Battle Tower in Emerald suffered from the further you stacked wins - Repetitive Team Comps.
Once you began to see what two or three pairings you saw in Singles and Doubles, you were pretty much set with how to orientate your team comp and what coverage you needed.
