>>52252788I was going so say something about Game Freak sabotaging Gen2 Pokemon in particular but that doesn't seem to be the case, considering many Gen2 mons either got buffs and if you count the Paradoxs Gen2 got a a decent number with some being especially busted. Can't even say that they hate Sunflora or else they wouldn't have made it the star of the hide and seek thing. So most likely Game Freak is just really REALLY shit at Game Balance, but hires a World Champion Tournament winner to create stats, movepools, and abilities for CHARIZARD and the other shillmons.
