I pirated all pokemon games and I still think
Gen1~Gen5 + SM + PLA are the only good games.
X/Y, SWSH and SV are among the worst games I ever seen

I wasn’t going to buy it, mostly because my experience with SwSh was so bad. The bugs don’t help, but from what I can see people actually really enjoy the game so I’d be more open to buying it. But I’ve already planned on not buying it so I don’t have time for it. And this is one fun game surrounded by trash like Home and BDSP. I don’t have that much hope for the future of the series after gen 8, so one single fun game is not that compelling when there are tons of great games out there. What used to instantly sell me on Pokémon games was that they were many good games that interacted with each other and making a greater whole.

I bought PLA after not buying since BW2 because I liked the direction it was going, but seeing as SV regressed everything PLA did and it might just be a "spin off", I guess I won't be buying any future pokemon game anytime soon.
I will still enjoy Meowscarada porn though, too bad she probably won't return in future gens

If there's one thing that I can say SV has taught me is that I can perfectly play this game even with a shitpoor PC. I stopped buying Pokemon games after SwSh, because GameFreak certainly stopped caring. Doesn't help that all of this is added onto Nintendo Switch Online which is a bullshit excuse to get more money. So yeah, piracy is king and I'm gonna focus on getting a better PC just so I can keep emulating their shit without needing to pay a penny towards their fucking shit.

I can run SV on my pc about as well as it runs on the switch, and I have a midrange laptop. Took me 15 minutes yesterday to go to /emugen/, get an emulator + keys + ROM and start playing. I'm 2 hours in and I'm pretty sure 3/4ths of it were cutscenes. Glad I'm not paying lmao
