The only 2 strategies that can beat most banned Pokemon are Stall and the strategy itself.
No one wants games to go down to 50/50 speed ties between 2 Pokemon who can easily fuck you over or have to resort to a team of 5 bulky Pokemon with a fast answer to wallbreakers.
Banning Pokemon like Flutter Mane and Houndstone (probably should have banned Last Respects too) means you can actually use shit you actually want without being run over or playing 100 turn games.
