MiA, to my surprise, became a milestone manga/anime.
Any product that came from Japan, and even some that don't, that deal with going deep down a cave will be compared to it, it will be inspired by it.

I am not saying that MiA invented the concept, far from it, but it's clear how much impact it had.

okay but it's cool. if i was a kid who didnt know what MiA was and thought the concept was really cool like i do now id be over the moon. who cares if they stole it it's fun and takes less creative development time under all that time crunch
