I like game freak games a lot. They always have a certain funny quality that I like. I do wish however that they hadn't made so many games over the last 20 years and had instead released games in this schedule:
GB ’95 RG 151 no different
N64 ’99 GS 100 Like Stadium but RPG, made by GameFreak
GBA’03 RS 136 Can play the story multiplayer; interacts with GC in a Four Swords adventure type thing; includes all previous Pokemon.
Wii ’07 DP 109 Pearl for Wii, Diamond for DS. Alternate console can be used as a peripheral eg DS is the box/pokedex for Pearl. Mega Evolutions (158 new Pokemon total).

it's not better performance until you can properly configure your emulator, install the right drivers, etc. a lot of the reported bugs are clearly just emulator problems hence their being easily captured

Overall performance is much better if you have the hardware for it. I was getting 40-70fps at 1440p for most of the game until Area Zero. Had to force Vsync and even then it was average 16fps. Expect a lot more stories of Switches crashing when more normies get to that part of the game unless GF gets a patch out pronto
