It would be cool if it played like the Godzilla fighting games and you could stomp around and smash up the environment while fighting. I'm imagining Tyrantrum stomping through the jungle or Omastar doing a big Rollout attack and smashing up rocks

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon but it's a Warlord simulator.
You start with your partner to create your own base. As you complete your first missions you can recruit more Pokemon for different tasks, like doing missions with you, developing TMs, helping your economy and stuff like that.
As you find other bases you can forge alliances, trade or defeat them and make them submit to your authority.
It's entirely on you to act like a villain or a hero, but that will impact on whether others help you on the final missions.

The same you can use in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon and are able to evolve.
As you progress in the game, dialogues will change to reflect everybody will either revere or fear you.

Basically Monster Hunter but Pokemon.
Instead of murdering the things you make them run away or you catch/trap them. Thanks to SV there's no problem anymore with Pokemon dropping bodyparts, the only other problem would be depicting people using a big fuckoff hammer to smash a Steelix to shit.
The potentional for sick looking armor is insane. Also, some Pokemon would make for great boss fights I'd imagine. Imagine fighting a rampaging Salamence
