game freak has been drip-feeding lore shit for years now and i expect them to continue doing it until gen 10 which would theoretically line up with pokemon's 30th anniversary

i FIRMLY believe this will lead to a huge lore dump in gen 10 akin to gen 4 casually dropping the "arceus is god" bomb except it'll feature prominent lore characters like emmet looking for ingo, colress because he's knowledgeable, and dawn because she's been getting endlessly shilled both in the games and anime. all the dawn promotion might end by the time gen 5 remakes drop but then it's possible the former 2 might get expanded upon as well
if they start nostalgia wanking gen 2 (specifically: focusing on unown, or finally having ash meet ho-oh) i will have real reason to start thinking this prediction holds weight
