I know SV deleted a lot of QoL features but isn't this one completely useless now? Mints are very easy to get now.
Same goes for the removal of Pokerus

Flame Body and Pickup still work.
Pretty sure that Cute Charm, Arena Trap (Doubles encounter rates lmao), Synchronise, Compound Eyes, and all the abilities that have a 50% chance to force a pokemon encounter of a certain type don't work.

fair. it's just frustrating to have seen it get nerfed and buffed through the gens, sometimes even at the same time

>works 100% of the time on giftmons (and weirdly, ONLY giftmons) in ORAS/SM/USUM
>absent in LGPE, but an NPC activates the effect and it always works
>buffed to 100% in SWSH, but only for randos. doesn't affect static encounters and raids
