Team skull were a bunch a punks that had eachother's backs like family, and Guzma was a cool character. "Team" yell was an absolute embarrassment. I havent finished scarlet but team star seems to be 2nd worst since they're just a bunch of loser kids who don't wanna go to school

feels like resident evil 4 again.

Team Skull stopped being good when the game decided to make them involved with Aether corporation which had no reason to be part of the story and had no bearing on anything.

Seems to be Gamefreak's pattern.
Not all the innovations they make are widely acclaimed, but when they hit gold they genuinely seem to have no idea why. They're like a novice artist who creates a one hit wonder but is unable to repeat their success because in reality they have no real genius or skill. Just lucky.

Team Star's leaders are good characters but the Grunts suck, they're practically nonexistent outside of a shitty minigame you have to play 5 times, the story would've probably worked better if it was just the leaders and they actually did things instead of hiding in bunkers the whole time.

This. The lack of team star grunts in outside bases was a bummer. The overall team star story isn't bad, but when you compare it to the other two plotlines it's my least favorite of the games.
