Returning player here. Seems I'm not allowed to use my free license for any of the newer pokemon with strong kits.

I now have enough for roughly any two pokemon. I'm leaning towards Mew, Tyranitar, Sableye, Scizor.

Which of these two will give me the best chance of reaching masters before this season ends? And why do you think they're the better option?

It's really hard to go wrong with any of them. I mean it: there is no wrong answer here.
TTar is the strongest carry in the game right now.
Mew can adapt to just about anything in the span of the match.
Scizor and dying just don't mix.
Sableye is the leading producer of salt in this meta, and you've probably heard all about it by now.

I've been playing Sableye lately and he's fun but I don't get why everybody is calling him overpowered. He goes down pretty quick in team fights and while he does a lot of damage with shadow sneak and confuse ray, if you fail to kill an enemy with them you're pretty much fucked, any decent attacker can kill you before your cooldowns recharge. Am I missing something? I've seen footage of people getting like 100,000 damage in a game but when I play them I rarely outdamage the other attacking mons on my team.

You should just walk away if you can't kill them before your cooldowns recharge, it's numerically impossible for them to stop you, stealth takes 2 seconds, confuse ray lasts 2.5.

Honestly I kind of regret buying Sableye now because anons are going to demand it gets nerfed to the ground. So depending on how many nerfs Sableye gets I ended up wasting 12k coins due to the fandom hating on anything that stops all-rouders/ attackers.

Be versatile by playing the strongest/best mon in each role. Then decide which mon is needed to carry or flip at this point for your team. If they get nerfed into the ground pick up a new mon and move on. MOBA are brain dead easy to pick up.

heal a ratio of your auto damage. Mamo deals okay ish auto damage thanks to the ice type moves reseting his boosted auto. Coupled with his high durability it could be okay. I havent tested it yet tough but i really want to.

Draining crown gives life steal to melee mons with their autos. So very good for melee mons who lacks life steal in autos like Wiggly and makes melee mons who already have life steal even better.

Crown on mamo is really good tested on PTS but it addresses Mamos major weaknesses as a defender.

I dont own him yet but i play him anytime he is on rotation. I quite like flash canon with muscle band and scope. With dragon tail of course. If you position yourself well before going into turret mode you get an absurd amount of reward. I have a lot of experience playing long range characters at high mmr in other mobas so it fit me perfectly. Look around the map, play footsies, then when you sense the moment is perfectly right set your foot down and get a penta. I usualy try to save my ult. playing patient and only geting into skirmishes i win. Then once an objective is up, i use the unite ring trick where you space it to leave the objective right into the fire to secure it. Im completely down to try out dragon pulse tough. He is coincidaly the next mon i was thinking of buying so if you have any insight on that route and its pros and con im highly interested.
Also whats your toughts on the new items coming up ?

I say drop cookies. Mamo needs weight and muscle/crown is toxic. Weight is why mamo/Swin does such big damage early and mid game. Plus like another anon said, mamo ice moves gives it a boosted auto and the more boosted auto/autos you have in general, the more insane Crown becomes. Yes your giving up bulk stack with cookies but you get more consistent life steal while hitting hard and stun locking an enemy.
A9 also has the same issue. I'm dropping BB or Amp (amp is for CD) to use muscle, rapid, focus band.

he's really good both as a laner and a jungler so it's actually pretty good for soloQ when you get teammates that don't call their lanes. I use flash cannon/dragon tail in both roles. Also i use eject button cause i'm too used to flash from playing league, full heal makes your unite unstoppable if you prefer that

You need good map awareness to be a good duraludon. Always pay attention to the minimap, realize where the enemies are and find the right moment to rip an objective while they're away. Securing an objective is a big morality boost, get a couple and you'll team will play better.

in the early game, use laser focus or metal claw to proc razor claw, so your next auto will do extra damage. There's no need to score or expose yourself to ganks, just play passive and secure as many wild mons you can.
>secure combo: laser focus- (rc)auto - auto - boosted auto - metal claw - (rc)boosted auto
metal claw makes your next attack automatically boosted and it will proc razor claw again for more damage. In reality i just secure with boosted auto-metal claw- boosted auto, and save laser focus as an escape tool as it reduces incoming damage.

in the midgame you're gonna be squishy, roam around the map between objectives but always take the safe route and stay behind a tank combo for maximum damage: using dragon tail to get closer
>maximum damage combo: flash cannon - (rc)auto - auto - boosted auto - dragon tail -(rc) boosted auto - dragon tail - (rc) boosted auto.
Again, in reality you might want to save a dragoon tail charge as an escape tool.

You absolute unhinged lad this is amazing. I was already runing muscle and it yielded very good results. But i never tought about running weight. I usualy lane with a mon that stacks since mamo is so strong early and he easily dominate lanes. Leading to early scores. I just never tought about trying to stack myself. And since draining crown healing is indeed a ratio of your damage you are going to suck even more health.

scizor is some kind of assasin who jumps on pepole and life steals absurds amounts. As long as you know when to go in and out you will never die. Take him if you like going in and being rewarded by engaging wisely (by always surviving). Tyranitar is fun in the sense that he goes in without restraint and usualy annihilate the other side, or dies. Usualy the former. He has to farm up a lot to get to that point tough. Its only fair. So you have to sit still and just farm up for most of the game. If you dont mind playing farming simulator for half the game, but also likes feeling like an unstoppable reckless juggernaut (you are btw) try tyranitar. If you like deleting pepole from the other side of the screen, get new. Also if you like the idea of stealing pepole's farm and nuking them on lane from outside their screen. And generaly making their life miserable, that a part of it too. You swap between a higher movepool during game. So if you prefer to swap between moves and keeping things fresh that could also impact your fun factor. You just have to be a bit careful because assasins will try to get a piece of you. So you have to have a bit of awarness.
Thats basicly the gift of what you might find fun, or unfun about these mon really. It depends on the person and thats why pepole play everything.

How good are you? I got from vet5 to master in only 20ish games and am currently at 1504 with 119 games played at a 60.5% winrate. You can sort of estimate with that based on your own winrate

I wish Espeon could have vision on enemies she uses Future Sight on. Too many times an enemy pokemon runs into bushes, or just goes invis in Sableye's case, and forces Stored Power to target a wild pokemon. Really annoying.

I feel the exact opposite. Every time I lose a match, even just a single match after a long win streak, the game puts me up against bots, even in ranked. I don't want to imagine how bad you have to be at the game to have a winrate under 50.

I rarely get bots. I think I've only seen maybe less than 5 this season in ranked. I should look up one of those really low WR players on uniteapi and see if they are getting any bot matches.
