>>52303398I like they brought up bullying, but the topic doesn't get much more than a past tense reference as to why Team Star was born in the first place. You never see the bullying first hand, nor truly feel the weight of it. If they really took the topic seriously, they should have given it the time and care necessary to make it truly impactful. Even if it might be uncomfortable, because that gets the message across. This just feels very... very poorly done. Like they wanted to touch on the topic, but were too afraid to actually make it more serious because of the potential effect it might have on their product as a whole.
For me personally, I think it would have been better to drop the whole thing if they aren't going to be bothered to actually try to be earnest and serious in their approach. And this is coming from someone who experienced bullying as well, I can understand it, but this was poorly delivered.
