Skeledirge NEEDS to be popular. It really needs this.

Do you know why?

Because Gamefreak will finally listen to our complaints about Fursuit, Anthro Jobmon Starters

Gen 5, Samurott ended up being so hated that it led to Gen 6 making 3 Humanoid Starters.

Greninja ended up being so popular that it lead to more Humanoid starters in Gen 7 especially in the form of Incineroar.

Incineroar became so popular that it eclipsed Decidueye and especially Primarina and even ended up in Smash Bros,thus solidifying it's placement as a big name Pokemon in the series.

This led to even more Humanoid starters in Gen 8 where Cinderace and Inteleon both ended becoming more popular than Rillaboom who was the least human-like of the Starters

Do you understand the pattern here?

And this brings us to Gen 9 where we continue the trend of Humanoid Starters with Meowscarada and Quaquaval but by some miracle we got our beloved pure Crocodile, Skeledirge. Not perfect but not Humanoid which makes it very amazing by default. We are finally lucky to have a Starter like this, especially a Fire Type one.

Anthromons Keep becoming popular = Gamefreak seeing this and making more Anthro Jobmons

By letting Skeledirge become the most popular Starter, we will be letting Gamefreak know that we want Starters to look like actual animal monsters again!

So come on /vp/ listen to me! You guys can forgoe your Weedcat and your Dancing Peacock just this once?
