Level scaling isn’t the problem, you are.

>Pokémon fanbase wants a new fresh gameplay that still holds its roots in the traditional mechanics
>game freak delivers in open world changing it up but keeping that base turn base style
>changes exp to be shared by the whole team

>main goal of game is to complete the Pokédex
You’re suppose to have your time change as you go along getting more and more Pokémon. Each area you get new Pokémon and are scaled to be lower than the gym and near the trainers. You forcing your 6 team is a based on being stuck in the linear mindset. Once you reach the champion you’ll have a plethora of Pokémon to pick your best team as you’ve explored the whole region and surely have most of the Pokédex done by the point you become champion.
Level scaling isn’t needed. You’re playing the game not as it’s intended. You complain you want something new but didn’t evolve the way you play. If you don’t have half to more of the dex complete by the end you are bad at the game and are purposely playing wrong.
