I unironically think Florida would be a decent region. I visited the everglades and it was so beautiful. There was also so many beautiful animals to use as Pokémon. Italy or Australia would also be great choices.

Bit of plain region design, though. Florida's shape doesn't lend itself to being interesting unless the Keys are made to be a lot more important and/or the Bahamas are included.

Alaska, the Southeast in particular because the state is so huge, would make for an amazing region. It'd be like a cross between Alola and Sinnoh.

Yeah, they could probably just bundle the south east USA as one region. Probably swap Georgia with West Virginia though. The keys of Flroida would be a great little side thing. I remember the drive over that long ass bridge to get there was so cool. Key West is also said to be incredibly haunted so they can put tons of ghost types there. It also has really cool military structures. They could make a red tide pokemon. XD
