Okay I was only calling it a 3D printer as a sort of basic comparison to how it works, but lets take it literally like you are. What exactly is stopping you from breaking down the materials of a 3D printed object and using them again? I can get behind the idea that area zero allowed for the professor to wish for a time machine, and that explains the appearance of the paradox, and it would still be possible for the professors to time travel at the end of the plot. The thing that the professors made a reality was the concept of paradoxes in the present day, not some weird manifestation of what they thought existed, or will exist in a different time period. But there is simply no way that the Time Machine isn’t real because the professors literally move through time at the end.

All the paradox mons are based off occult ramblings from a paranormal tabloid rag and rumors spread around.
