All Game Freak had to do was add a "recommended level" on the gyms and titans
then people would know where to fucking go based on their party level
Fuck level scaling just put the objectives level on the map icon, why did they not do this before?

I agree but I still think we should have scaling OPTIONS as well for better replayability.
A scale up option (if the zone is too low it will scale to your number of objectives) and a scale down option (if the zone is too high it will scale to your number of objectives) that you can choose separately or not. It would satisfy everyone.
But it's probably too hard for Game Freak.

I think gyms could be scaled based on how many badges you have. Everything else could be left as is. That way you can still have players choose to navigate to more difficult areas if they wish to challenge a specific gym or trainers first.

there's zero problems with the gyms, it's not an issue for anybody at all

and? You're 20 years old dude, you understand how to build a team, how to use type advantages, how Atk vs SpA works, speed, you have the power to switch out and to heal your pokemon. The gym leaders will barely select a supereffective move, they do it 2/3 of the time.
why are you pretending like gyms were ever a challenge?

This game was a fan game made in a rush that they tackled the name pokemon on it. In other worlds, it's badly designed and full of fakemon.

Half the gyms feel pretty worthless after finishing the higher leveled ones, and even then they aren't all too special in difficulty. It's kind of lame. So I'm just throwing out ideas, not solutions. I'll be sure not bring up scaling next time though, because unfortunately you seem to go into a hissy fit when it's mentioned. That's probably not good for you.

but I didn't, I just go to the next nearest icon until I get hit with +20 level wild pokemon, then I go the other way and clear out the icons on the other side of the map
inb4 I'm playing the game wrong and I shouldn't be having fun exploring the region
