Are they even possible to do solo? I find them impossible to beat. Online players aren't any better either. Also battles are incoherent as fuck to follow sometimes.

Yes. Have higher level mons who arent made out of paper. I usually put choice band/specs and hope for the best. Usually works. The pokemon in raids are Lv 75

Yes, its actually easier to solo than it is to do online. Get yourself a pokemon with Swords Dance or another two stage damage buff, use it three times, then one shot with a super effective attack. You skip the shield all together.

Yes. They are still doable.
6* raids are unbelievably hard. People are cheesing them with specifically built sets out of necessity. If there will ever be a solo meta for it, it would have to be Gholdengo
