This shit is starting to get old. As much as I liked megas in Gen 6, it started this trend of mons with a twist every gen. They should’ve just left it at regionals, and without the exclusive evolutions at that (example, normal linoone should also evolve into obstagoon). Even lamer that regionals essentislly got shelved for not-regionals/convergents and paradox mons. Inevitably these will get shelved for whatever gen 10 does and they’ll never be built upon again.

I wish GF at the least wouldn’t try to re-invent mons every generation

Paradox pokemon are just new pokemon that resemble old ones, I don't see the problem. You wouldn't use Iron Thorns like you use a normal Tyaranitar, and you can use both together.

A large group of hybrid pokemon made to try and fill niches in a new region that is in the process of being colonized by modern people (like Orre). The two box art legendaries would be an artificial feral pokemon and an ancient ,once domestic, friendly pokemon from the local wilds.
A lot of the hybrid pokemon would be kept simple as to not repeat what happened with Mewtwo, Genesect, or Type: Null, but that doesn't last long and the main antagonist attempts to rid the untouched region of humans with his new legendary level hybrids.

Like Silvally but using existing Pokemon.
Think a humanoid pokemon with a bull's head to make a minotaur.
Or a horse with wings slapped on to make a pegasus.
Things that just look completely unnatural within the setting and defy nature.
