Does this translate into gameplay like Durant and Heatmor did? It feels like Corviknight and the Bisharp line could wall it very easily. Bisharp would have to watch out for any fighting moves it has but other than that it should be ok.

Honestly hope Pokémon Snap did well enough to stay alive or inspire something similar. The biological world building stuff is one of my favorite parts but you get hardly any of it in mainline games. The Pokémon interactions of Snap was great.

Bisharp fans also got an evo, and the fact their mon is playable in this gen. And on top of that, if you hate the evo look, you could just slap a Eviolite on your bisharp and watch it wreak everything with it.

Ya, I think most players with Female Bisharps are just going to eviolite them and pretend Kingambit never existed, similar to how some players with female Goldeen won't evolve it to Seaking, pretty much any Pokemon that starts off Androgynous or Feminine then turn Masculine(A lot of gen 1 mons) gets their evolutions cancelled, escpially when their gender is Female.

Pawniard line is basically a warrior culture. If a Tink is around and kills enough Bisharp the Kingambit would likely come out to fight it. I imagine Tinks are pretty cowardly though so they probably use sneak attacks or hit-and-run tactics.

Why would they be cowardly? It's outright stated that they regularly fight each other and that they go for GROUPS of Bisharps and Pawniards. They're not fighting them one on one, it's usually one vs many, and if the Bisharps lose that fight then that's on them.
