So I used to be from the camp of "They are from the future and past" but after Anons here brought up some really good points that debunked everything I thought, I have to say this is my most favorite pokemon game story to date from the implications.

I'm just wondering what happened to the AI, if they really didn't go into the past/future but think they did, if that's what I think it is in the machine.
It makes sense that this hidden deity pokemon is just creating these monsters based of insane people who travel to area zero
