Just so you know (stallwhiners probably didn't), this tubular dude makes stall basically unusable and was unanimously not banned.

its signature ability blocks all status moves, unlike magic bounce which still bounced back defog, and its typing makes it inmune to rapid/mortal spin
meaning that, as long as gholdengo remains alive, the hazards you've set up will never go away
AND on top of that, it's pretty strong offensively as well

Can't you just play around it?
Wait for it to switch out, and then defog/spin?
Great Tusk is perfect for this because Gholdengo can't safely switch in without possibly getting fucked by a Headlong Rush.

None of you faggots play the game. Gholdengo doesn't shutdown stall it shuts down any attempts at hazard removal. Immmunity to defog along with lack of any defogers to threaten it is what makes it so broken. You know, defog, move which removes screens along with hazards. You dumb fucking faggots have no idea how the game works. Stall barely exists in the game because Gamefreak essentially got rid of scald, limited distribution of knock off, removed all wish passers and limited recover moves to 8pp.

Good As Gold is basically Wonder Guard 2.0, it's inherently uncompetitive and would break anything with sufficiantly good stats/movepool/type, such as Gholdengo itself.

and yet the meta will evolve into defense/bulky offense once the meta settles because Hyper Offense is just a thing that dominates early on due the lack of of understanding of the whole meta, and by extension of proper checks/counters.
bonus points: the hyper early bans aren't good on the long run because they tamper with the natural process of meta-defining environment
in a month the meta will go back to either bulky offense or defense
