I/e there might be a base program that adds a waifu NPC of sorts, but they can accompany you in other VR programs (likely in a minimally interactive way). This might be easily integrated in some games and janky in others, but also with the ability to "minimize" down to an AI mode where you just get dialogue popups now and then or as interacted with.
In between games, you might have a home program of sorts where you can do general VR stuff. I/e be in your VR "living room" on the couch or on the bed and watching TV (which would just be whatever virtual window you have pulled up and positioned appropriately) and they just kinda chill with you.
As for the porn stuff, I'd say in all those circumstances, the idea would then be "anywhere you can directly see and interact with her is a place you can plow her", so if you play Skyrim VR Omega Todd Edition, you can bend her over the nearest object or you can just go back to the home room and do it there instead. For the chilling in the home room part, maybe while watching stuff she might be more prone to initiating stuff, giving a quick handy or something. Bonus points for lovense integration.
Admittedly I had big tiddy kemono deer gf in mind rather than glaceon while I was thinking about it.
