I don't get it. Gigalith has higher attack, higher sp def cus of sand stream, a useful utility ability compatible with many mons, a good speed tier for trick room, and a better design. Yet Garganacl gets all the hype just because it has a stupid ass move

Garganacl has everything going for it - superior movepool, useful signature move, recovery, and crazy strong ability. Gigalith is cool I'll admit but it falls into all the problems slow rock types usually do. Attack doesn't even matter because Garganacl's damage comes from body press and DoT.

Garg has a cracked ability and signature move.
It’s immune to all Status conditions, resists Ghost, and Salt Cure is basically the Kanto starter G max move but with better effect.
Oh and it also has recover and better Body Press (Salt Cure chip, Burn/Para immunity, and beating Ghosts) than Giga too.
