When said person died she promised herself to get her job done: Awakening Rayquaza at any cost in order to have a guardian destroy the next meteor, so she lured a bunch of retards (Team Aqua/Magma) obsessed with ancient pokemon Rayquaza stops into awakening one of those, then she just had to wait until Rayquaza woke up and stopped the Primal, go to Rayquaza's sanctuary and use her key stone to megaevolve it into a guardian strong enough to destroy the meteor and save the world.
But nobody believed the split timeline stuff (even irl, some retards defended for YEARS how there's no split timeline no matter what the games say) and moralfags didn't approve how she had to wake up a dangerous Primal Groudon/Kyogre for a few hours in order to SAVE THE GODDAMN WORLD so people just hate her.
Also because at the end she can still summon Rayquaza because she's lucky to find enough people with keystones to use to call upon Rayquaza, but she didn't know Rayquaza's organ ran out of fuel and was unable to megaevolve so the MC had to arrive with a juicy meteor to refill the dragon's belly and become its trainer instead.
