Why is this franchise not allowed to be edgy anymore?

Stadium aesthetics were peak kino and always felt like the "definite" way the console releases should be.

Hell, the darker atmosphere even stayed throughout the entirety of Gen 2. It was only up until Hoenn where everything started getting babbified.

Pokemon was always babby friendly, it's why the only real edge in this series is the beta/concept art from fucking 1996, and anything not kosher for 7 year olds (like trainers using whips) was axed from the series by Gen 2. A dungeon or cavern doesn't suddenly mean "edgy" and you're a retard for insinuating that, especially when your "proof" is from a fucking spinoff that also had you go to class as a Clefairy.
