The dex has 85 new mons, not 103. Convergent evolutions and paradoxes are just dex filler. They're just a new regional form variant and aren't really new Pokémon. You could make a case for convergents since they evolved differently in the lore but paradoxes are clearly based on existing Pokemon so they should just be different forms. At most the Dex is 89.
