What do you look for in a Pokémon design? Do your favorites have anything in common? One of my favorite parts about the series is how varied the appeal is. There’s a pink muppet with an oversized hammer, a dog made out of bread and a floating car engine possessed by a koffing or gastly or something and they’re each someone’s favorite. Personally I’ve found my tastes have skewed towards more nonspecific monster designs over animals. Scovillain, Garganacl and Toedscruel are big winners this gen for me.
