Eviolite Type:Null becomes an even better wall and Mega Slowbro in Natdex metas becomes even more unbreakable. Aside from that, maybe Hisuian Goodra and Escavalier would prefer it over their other abilities? It would of course also be a buff to Citizen Snips.

would love a buff like this as it help a lot of struggling mons while it doesn't buff a ton of already strong ones. Only good ones are like Cloyster, Torkoal and Crawdaunt and none of these three would want to give up on their other abilities

Would help buff
>Armaldo rapid spin/knock off sets get tankier
>Torterra can sponge more hits
>Allows Crustle to be a better physical tank or better opportunities to shell smash
>Escaliver will be a hell of a tank

Shell Armor and Battle Armor are just fine the way the are. The only thing I would change to the ability is to notify the player that a critical hit had been avoided.

People would certainly be a lot more appreciative of this ability. Critical hits play a big role in the game and despite constant complaints about the mechanic, the armor abilities are almost universally derided as terrible.

Considering Physical attackers get most of the love when it comes to moves, while special attackers that aren't shillmons are often stuck with STAB, Focus Miss, and maybe one of two welfare moves, its bit more balanced that it first appears. Typhlosion syndrome (special attackers intentionally sabotaged with a backwards mostly physical movepool), is far more common than the reverse.
