there is a new glitch with picnics
you run around the desert saving in front of shiny drops until you find a star piece.
Reset.
And spawn picnic in front of it so that the EGG basket is over the shiny.
You then breed pokemon, and every time you find an egg, you also pick up a star piece. I don't believe you have to accept the egg either, but it regesters it as a picking up the shiny drop.
