Paldea has a lot of cool ideas and there's obviously some thought and effort put into conceptualizing it as a whole. I just got to Levincia and, after beating Iono, started exploring around. The entire game's overworld still looks like a jarring nightmare yet I couldn't help but think how much of a crime it was to waste such a cool city on a game with astounding low visual fidelity and polish. Towns and cities would have benefited the most out of everything if they were properly fleshed out.
It's obvious The Pokemon Company doesn't give a shit, but I wish such a cool region wouldn't have gone to waste just because Ishihara wanted to stack up another 500 billion yen.
