I like how GF’s response to a pokemon who’s popularity could rival Charizard and Pikachu was to shit on it and treat it like an after thought afterwards.
Like at the end of the day, a shillmon is a shillmon, but you might as well use that popularity to make bank but it just seemed like Greninja was purposely thrown under the bus at the height of it’s popularity to sabotage any chance it had to remain relevant
