it still is a stallmon. Just because the cookie-cutter OU archetype currently doesn't have room for this thing it doesn't mean it's not one. Depending on metagame trends it can absolutely be used in a future iteration of the cookie-cutter stall team.

hes a stall mon that beats out other stall mons mainly the ever popular steels and bulky waters. Stall gets a bad rap because it was kinda cancer in gen 6 and 7 but now stall been neutered a lot.

Salt cure is only strong against steel or water, as in common stall types. To everyone else it's just poison, so he doesn't add to stall and does add to anti stall.

Reminder the absence of magic guard Pokemon is entirely to not shit on this things ability to stall. If Clefable or Alakazam or Reiunculus were around this thing would be set up fodder for all of them unless it sacrificed a moveslot to do any damage to them, in which case it'd be even easier to crack

Gigalith has good stats, it just has nothing else really going for it. Sturdy is worthless on a mon that shouldn’t be one shot to begin with and it’s too slow to be a sand sweeper so no reason for sand force. Minecraft Steve has a godly ability and great movepool in addition to good stats

Besides the offenses it doesn’t use and Sand, its stats are better in every way.
Even offensively, Garg is better.
Salt Cure is twice as strong as Sand and does more to Water/Steel types, Garg can Tera Fighting for stronger Body Presses without taking Sand damage, and it’s immune to burns as well.

The ONLY point going for Gigalith is its better attack, but that doesn't make up for all of Garganacl's strengths. It's amazing how even the stats alone make it look good.

This is the first slow, bulky Rock Pokémon that GameFreak has actually done right.
