I know that's hard to understand for someone that hasn't actually played them but XY, ORAS, SM, USUM, and LGPE are all distinct games that spanned across a time period of over 6 years in the series with Megas being used even more afterwards in promotional material. Even if you ignore the shit ton of balance tweaks and lore they got in Gen 7 you can't really ignore just how relevant they are and the prominence of Iron Valiant / Roaring Moon over the other non-mega paradoxes.
