The issue with that is that bulbapedia renders don't always have the items/trainers. The goal would be to have a complete comprehensive map of the regions so you don't need to follow a walkthrough to get the items and trainers.

ACEKWLTELY those areas are officially labeled as Kanto on the Map, but considering they were introduced in the Johto games and only ever appear in Johto games, They really should be considered part of Johto for this type of comparison to make sense,
But I'm pretty sure they left out out a bunch of Johto areas anyway. where the fuck is the Safari zone?
And what's the significance of the encircled trees?

Also, of course Sinnoh is "bigger", when it is long stretched out routed of nothingness, what the fuck is going on in the top right. Also what's with all the disconnected places, I've never seen those.

Dots in the northwest: Darkari and Cresselia islands
Dot in the west: Island where you meet Riley and get Riolu egg
North: Snowpoint and routes. You arrive through Mt. Coronet's tunnels.
North a bit to the east: Battle Zone, you arrive by ship
Long strip in the northeast: Path to shaymin island

Dot in the east: Just how it looks the start of the shaymin path before triggering the shaymin event

I guess the trees are just a comparison between the different tiles

It was pretty interesting.
I mainly like it because I caught my first shiny Pokemon here, Shiny Rhydon.

The fact that it has Kanto kinda makes up for Johto being kinda small. At least it has memorable areas outside Kanto, which you really can't say for like, Kalos or Galar outside the wild areas.

Right above the cliff route after Cianwood, far left of the map.

That's Seabreak Path, an event-only route that you can still access with tweaking (DP) and DNS exploits (Platinum). Arguably the best route for hatching eggs in Sinnoh, but it's kind of a pain in the ass to get to compared to the Daycare route.
