In SM her character model is ALWAYS smiling, even when other people are in pain, freaking out, scared whatever. Chicken is a psycho who is ok with being dragged along to whatever if it means she'll get something out of it, being pokemon, power or fame. A battling monster who's "Friends" are just people who talk at her and give her stuff. Chicken doesn't even acknowledge the world around her despite being such a huge part of it. That isn't new for any pokemon MC but SM fully acknowledges she's the champion and several different people rely on her
