It wasn't removed, they just never added it. Team A is filled with faggots from the GB days with 0 programming skill, and Team B is the young blood. It's very obvious that Team A is stuck in their old ways and won't implement anything that Team B does into their games. If Team B does the DLC again, there's a possibility they try and sneak it in.

Let's be real it's not about balance. If they added a shiny alert with sparkles or sound, people would be losing their mind with how poorly SV handles spawns. PLA kept everything on the map loaded, and SV can spawn it on the edge of your range so new spawns can disappear instantly. Now imagine how many times you'd hear the shiny alert with the pokemon disappearing immediately.

lmao no, you don't know what you're talking about and are talking out your ass. PLA and SV both use the same engine and both control the Pokemon Spawn radius with the EncountPokemon file params. There are even mods for both SV and PLA to increase this spawn radius. And also, Shiny cloning exploits in SV prove your theory wrong as well since you can keep culling in shinies when entering and leaving settlements like PokeCenter areas

NTA but no PLA system is completely different, everything is rolled when you generate the map if you move away from a shiny and move back it will still be there. In S/V any Pokemon more than X distance away no longer exists

Wrong. SV use a modified system from PLA. You can move away from a shiny, have it "de-spawn" and come back and it'll respawn back there just like PLA. The biggest difference is PLA has a fixed spawnlist whereas SV has a dynamic spawnlist. Once again, there's even an exploit to clone shiny Pokemon if you've encountered one near a settlement or PokeCenter, because for some reason capturing a shiny doesn't clear it from the spawn list right away.

This is just wrong. I've had shinies despawn on me in SV after saving, then attempting to approach that spot they don't load back in unless I reload my game. You're doubling down and you have multiple people telling you you're a fucking idiot. The shit you're talking about with cloning shinies is a bug due to crossing a checkpoint, where it saves the shiny seed for whatever reason.

Pokémon are colorblind so the coloration won’t alert would be predators, but if their prey instead were constantly making a loud noise and sparkles came off their body they would be hunted down and killed for sure.
