>>52408622Honestly I find it really weird that 4chan has this fictional war between Gens 5 and 6 when they’re the most similar to each other. Their biggest difference is that Gen 5 refines on a lot of old stuff but feels somewhat samey whilst Gen 6 introduced a lot of new stuff but that content feels lacking.
Gens 1 and 2 feel very similar
Gens 3 and 4 feel very similar
Gens 5 and 6 feel very similar
Gens 7, 8, and 9 feel more like a technical progression but in more of a rollercoaster way (going forward but with ups and down).
And when I say Gens 5 and 6 both feel similar… I mean in terms of being trash where even the last Gym Leaders use 3 Pokémon and the Elite 4 are cucked to 4 Pokémon each.
