When I'm having a bad day, I always feel a bit better when I remember that in my house I have a picture of a girl I love telling me she loves me too.
A favorite card is a really special thing. It's like a happy memory you can touch and hold and that's yours.
If you don't see the appeal in that, that's fine, card collecting isn't for everyone.
If you're on the fence though, I say give it a shot. There are a lot of wonderful cards out there that cost less than a dollar, and if you find them a good price you can buy nice sleeves for pennies and binders/boxes for just a few bucks.
