Even Game Freak realized they can't make a 650+ BST "shitmon" anymore with all the creep going on. So they decided to simply make it good.

Pretty much the only true shitmons in Gen 9 overall are Squakabilly and Spidops. And the former is mostly because it;s completely outclassed by Staraptor.
