Ohmori will probably make a passing statement on these issues on the next Pokemon Direct but he'll surely be trying his damndest to downplay them while also saying "don't worry, we're hard at work fixing things!" just to calm people down
Expect a patch to fix like half the issues but fail to address the rest of them within the next 6 months.

Once notch left the game started to just ape terraria. They refuse to add to the technical side of the game which is what most long term players like, in favor of people who play for a short amount of time. I actively develop mods for it and 1.7.10 is one of the biggest modding versions and it's almost a decade old
