When I was younger I thought yanmega was a bug/dragon type

Bug-types are generally cool. The issue is that it feels easy to drift the idea into some third type like flying/ghost/ground/poison so that specific combination is hard to land on.

Its still only a two stage. They could easily drop stage 3 one day. I think they could easily make a good dragon out of yanmega

id imagine its based loosely on helicarrier type crafts, like how yanma is loosely based on small, commercial helis and yanmega is loosely based on more military helicopters. I do think yanmega is one of the best vehiclemons ever made.

Good thing you mentioned the vehicle theme, cause I was gonna say: GF already seems to think dragon is "plane-type"(lati@s, garchomp, mega-mence, dragapult), so the yanma line seems perfect for the task of getting repurposed into the first bug/dragon imo.
