Post trainer classes that should've been obvious but never done yet

Ghost Hunter
>Always male
>Takes a scientific rather than occult approach to Ghost-types, with EMF meters and thermal cameras
>Ghost specialists with Electric as their secondary type
>Can show up paired with Hex Maniac/Psychics in Double Battles, known as Paranormal Investigators

Perfumer
>Male counterpart to Aroma Lady
>Roughly same Pokemon pool + Aromatisse
>Kalos-exclusive

Snake Charmer
>Thematic counterpart to Bird Keeper
>Just snake Pokemon

also spy, I really like how you have to initiate and blow their cover.
Mime is neat but they would all have to not say anything, which feels weird for an actual game. great for a romhack or something tho.

heres a TERRIBLE idea for you, TPCI could get in contact with some B-list celebrity and put them in the game as an optional trainer. That would annoy people so bad and stand out as very gaudy and strange and age terribly depending on the celeb.

new game has delivery boys which is neat since thats my job. They havent done Hockey player yet i think. Would be good for ice type.

camp counselor would be an adult camper/picknicker. scout leader kind of thing.

ok hockey and camp counselor together made me think Friday the 13th. what about a hockey mask wearing weirdo/lunatic out in the woods with scary mons.

reeling it back in, I think there should be small time bosses. trainers in an area that are a cut above the rest. I also wish trainer battles were tough again. tons of adult "trainers" running around with ONE underleveled shitmon annoys me. I know theyre NPCs but why would a person like this even exist in a monster taming universe? The ladies with non-combat meowths and jigglypuffs in GSC had the decency to not start battles they couldnt win/

Pokemart shopkeepers should (rarely) be challengeable with a difficulty a level on or slightly below the current city's gym leader trying to push product by being fucking annoying cunts using items during the fight with good teams, rechallengeable til you win, and who give a permanent discount at the shop or at least a fuckton of money. Also could be other npcs in the shop or even expand on it with traveling shopkeepers you have to beat to buy from.

Roving madman trainer with scary mons sounds like a fantastic idea, but something that present-day Game Freak would never try. Would’ve scared people shitless during the Gen 1/2 days.
You make a good point about adult-age trainers having shitty teams. Even if battling wasn’t someone’s specialty, they should know to have something more imposing by that age.

PokeMart shopkeepers you can fight is something so simple that I am legitimately surprised was never done. Especially because I’m certain there were a few times you could fight someone inside a Pokémon Center.

some weird ideas there but the premise is great.
imagine having a battle against a class trainer or complementary class pair and at the end of the battle you get rewarded with stuff they'd use instead of just money.
fighting against a pokenurse and being able to receive healing but only once is a good example. or a strategist gives you an X-Attack for example (yeah, the're useless I know).
