but gen 2's postgame is gen 1. so why should I sit through gen 2's bullshit to reach the all-important postgame (which is just gen 1 but worse) when i can just play gen 1?
Gen 2 gives you an entire timeskip and reprise of Gen 1 while Gen 1 itself offers you absolutely nothing. It looks better, it has a day and night, many Pokémon actually look like themselves. You said it yourself, you are literally just mad because it’s not “MUH KANTO” so you go back to those games.
