Dude, get over it, Arven was a lame ass character that everyone is getting all misty eyed because his dog was beaten up. Considering that the intent was it was the Second Koraidon that did this to Mabostiff, it doesn't make sense for his pokemon to have suffered in such a way that it couldn't be fixed up by a pokemon center.
If they hinted at a Paradox pokemon having done something to it, i.e. an ancient poison or future toxin, that was itself derived from the Herba Mystica, otherwise he's just being a drama queen because his puppy got beat up by another pokemon.
And his abandonment issues were as touched on as your peepee by girls, he got miffed about his Mom/Dad not being there for him. Turns out they had a legit reason because they were dead and the AI literally cannot leave the facility.
So he's just pissed off at dead people, but what about his other parent who abandoned him?
