You can't, Ash isn't Goku. He's not interesting enough to sustain being a battle man, nor does it come off as that believable. Especially as due to the setting of pokemon; there's an incredibly hard wall to stakes.
The champions are the peak, and there's nowhere to actually hype up a "super super champion" at this point.
