>>52447711They are seriously out of whack with the character ages and how they look in game. Hilda/Hilbert are supposed to be like 15-16 and the same for Rosa/Nate and that makes sense. I think the same for Serena/Calem but Emma I think is confirmed 16 but she sees Serena/Calem as an adult and I don't think that's just based on status, so are they like 16-18? That doesn't quite seem right. How old would that make Shauna, I feel like she's probably 12-14 but if the protagonist is 18 then she's awfully close to their size for 14.
SM was one of the few to be direct with us in terms of age with the character explicitly 11 years old and the trial captains no older than 20, but Acerola is tall yet seems to be younger than the player, Sophocles is possibly younger than 11, Lillie is obviously tall but could be older than 11, and of course there's the mystery of how old Mina really is because of her appearance in LGPE and how canon that really is. I'm mostly alone in this but I choose to believe that there's no timeline retcon or anything like that despite the isekai format, I believe that Mina is actually older than 20 in SM and is lying about her age because she seems like the type to do that. USUM is different but in SM she is basically just wandering around in the wilderness and is barely a real Trial captain.
Gloria/Victor are probably 13-15 as is Hop, they don't look quite as old as the Gen 5-6 protagonists but older than Alola's. Bede is probably the same and Marnie might be 12. Sonia and Leon are at least 18, maybe more like 20-22.
Juliana/Florian look around the age of the Alola protagonists so I would say 11. Nemona might be like 16 at the oldest but could be as young as 14. Arven is probably 16-18 and Penny is probably the age of the protagonist, maybe even 10 (she had to be really young when she started Team Star). It is weird though because Nemona acts like some of the older characters and she's older than the player but still can't be that old.
