I fear we may never have another game as beautifully crafted as this one. Not talking about performance or graphics, but the way it was directed really gave me hope for the pokemon franchise.

It was seen as such because of how full a pokemon experience it wound up being, and Sc/Vi definitely lifted a majority of its features from Arceus which includes making the boxart legendaries all-in-one Ride Pokemon so you aren't fumbling between Braviary/Sneasel/Ursaluna.

The game's battle system rewards raising beefy Pokemon that can tank multiple hits in a row. I trained my Umbreon up this way and he was eating double Aura Spheres as if they were nothing.

everything made by GF is mainline. BDSP is also mainline. games that can transfer mons to or from the main games (Stadium/2/Colosseum/XD/PBR/GO) are side games.

if you don't pay for subpar games then you wouldn't know they are subpar in the first place
emulation is not equivalent of playing them on the console itself
lets be honest, 9 times out of 10, it runs better and more smoothly on a pc, but that goes against my point
